What my three weeks with the Sea Bears looked like.

I was taken on as a Marketing Intern and I had two major responsibilities: handling graphic design projects and creating content for Instagram Reels.

Before I continue, the photo you see is of me and the Director of Communications and Marketing: Stefanie Lasuik. (Shout-out to Stef for being an awesome mentor.)

I got to create so many cool designs that were in collaboration with so many great companies like Alt Hotel, BDI, Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, and MNP.

Below you’ll see a carousel of the posters I was able to design.

Key Takeaway: collaboration and listening to feedback is so important. Also, make those revisions in a timely manner.

I also made some cool videos.

My secondary responsibility was creating Instagram Reels for the official Instagram account to build up hype for the upcoming season and hopefully create content that leads to more ticket sales.

I brainstormed, filmed, and edited two Instagram Reels and one Instagram post resulting in 2200 likes and 27 comments.

The Sea Bears also set a regular-season franchise attendance record of 9116 fans in attendance during the home-opener.
